Over the years the PCWA accomplished many varied tasks and key goals. What follows are brief, yearly reviews of the years 2024 -2010 highlights and URL links to archived documents.

- July 18, 2024, New Hope Crushed Stone and Lime Quarry auction September 2024.
- Primrose Creek coalition initiates $6000 mini grant for riparian restoration at Phillips Mill.
- Primrose Creek Coalition (PCC) Restoration Map and Watershed Narrative finalized.
- February 15, 2024, Dialogue continues with the DEP as PCWA joins Solebury School and The Township in talks covering the NHCS quarry lake outflow mechanism, the desired ‘typical’ water level and the responsibilities of the DEP and the owners, New Hope Crushed Stone. - PCWA Board welcomes new member Sharon Smith. Sharon co-chairs a project to approach all residents within the watershed to raise awareness of the Association, its watershed projects and to build membership.
- Growing Greener Grant was not achieved for the 3rd time. (See Grant application in Archives.)
- Bird count- walk planned for May 2024.
- February 15, 2023, PCWA board welcomes membership committee co-chair member Robert McEwan who intitates $3000 lower Delaware Wild & Scenic Grants for the development of a primrose Creek watershed improvement map and WIP narrative.
- January: Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic River (LDWSR) mini-Grant: $ 4,856 See Grant application in Archives.
- Winter: Local resident donated more than $4,000 worth of deer fencing materials
- Spring: Volunteers erected the deer fencing for the 2nd and 3rd section of Solebury Arboretum. Planted 55 trees and bushes to continue construction of the needed creek riparian buffer at Solebury School. See photos of the teamwork. https://www.primrosewatershed.org
- November/December: formed a coalition (named Primrose Creek Coalition, PCC) with Phillips Mill Community Association, The New Hope Colony for the Arts and the Township with the goal of planning to restore riparian buffers, local multi-model trails and access to Canal and Magill Parks. - PCC Received a $3,000 grant from LDWSR to be matched by a Landscape planner to execute a graphic sketch water trail plan. Simone-Collins stepped up to do the pro-bono part of the work. (See grant application in Archives.)
- Several meetings with the local group and the DEP that seek to remedy the quarry issues were carried out during the year. - January: Board agrees to support an application by the Lower Delaware Wild and Scenic River’s committee to seek congressional designation for the creek as part of the LDWSR.
- September 21, 2023, Primrose Watershed Bird walk and count in association with Bucks Co. Audubon Society at Honey Hollow.
- January 15, 2022, Awarded LDWSR Mini-Grant for $4,856 to build the first phase of an arboretum and riparian buffer along the creek as it traverses Solebury School (Application and final report in Archives.) https://www.primrosewatershed.org/gallery/
- April 12, 2022: Students and PCWA volunteers erect protective deer fence and plant a diverse selection of 62 native trees and bushes. School continues to use the area as a STEAM teaching resource. https://www.primrosewatershed.org/gallery/
- July 15, 2022: 14 “Primrose Watershed” boundary signs are posted at key entry ways. https://www.primrosewatershed.org/gallery/
- Primrose Watershed Bird Walk and count in association with The Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow.
- Solebury School teacher Staci Freer and resident Edward Leydon set up apiary boxes to enhance pollination.
- January 24, 2021, PCWA board elects president Francis Collins
- March 17, 2021“SAVING PRIMROSE CREEK” a paper by PCWA president Francis Collins, is published by STROUD Water Quality Research Center on managemywatershed.org . The paper details the science behind the sinkholes caused by the dewatering of the watershed by the quarry operations and repair plans. A copy is in the Archives.
- May 21, 2021, First Bird Walk and count with The Bucks County Audubon Society
- August 25, 2021, DEP, Township, Senator Santarsiero, Solebury School, PCWA, NHCS quarry conference
- October 20, 2021, a post hurricane Ida macrobiotic study of the upper primrose was performed by students led by Solebury science, teacher, Phyllis Arnold. Water, quality, pollution, tolerance index, PTI registered (8) lowest score.
- January 18, 2020, PCWA Board welcomes environmental committee member Staci Freer and teacher, Kim Johnson.
- Reached agreement with Solebury School to plant an arboretum along the creek in what is a frequently flooded and eroded stream bank meadow. School also agrees to stop mowing several fields (5 plus acres) and allow natural plants to prosper.
- October 15, 2020, macrobiotic study of the upper Primrose Creek performed by students lead by Solebury School science teacher, Phyllis Arnold. Water quality registered (13) “good”. Compared with downstream at Phillips Mill which registered (23) “excellent”.
- January 15, 2019, PCWA board elects president John Francis.
- Welcome new board member William Birnes to publication committee.
- PCWA welcomes educator members: Cari Nelson, Phyllis Arnold of Solebury School, Jeremy Pfancook of New Hope Solebury High School and Steve “Mr. B” Bernardini of Buckingham Elementary.
- Princeton-Hydro https://princetonhydro.com in partnership with PCWA develops a Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) for 2018 to 2028. The plan is the basis for the 2nd Growing Greener Grant application. Application failed, however the WIP remains firmly in place as the backbone of the Association’s long-term work. https://www.primrosewatershed.org/about-us/
- 4/24/2018 PCWA awarded Stroud Water Research EnviroDIY, William Penn Foundation Grant NO. 158-15. Francis Collins, John Francis, Larry Hampt, Hope Blaythorne.
- May 1, 2018, Installation of 2 Enviro DIY monitors above and below the quarry to record creek depth, temperature and conductivity charges and habitat alterations due to the recently closed quarry. - PCWA applied for Stroud Water Research EnviroDIY, William Penn Foundation Grant NO. 158-15. Title: Supporting Citizen Science in the Delaware River Initiative through Deployment and Use of Automated Environmental Sensor Stations and Supplemental Sampling and Data Collection.
- January 20, 2016, Solebury Township voted unanimously to participate in the appeal and insist that NHCS quarry comply with the Environmental Hearing Board 2013 ruling to implement the reclamation of the quarry as soon as it can be done Kevin Morrissey
- January 25, 2016, Princeton Hydro, LLC develops strategic plan for a proposal to develop and implement a Watershed Inflammation Plan (WIP) for Primrose Creek Watershed.
- Stroud Water Research EnviroDIY workshop and Water Quality 101 seminar. Carol Cope, Francis Collins, Larry Hampt
- June 15, 2016, Grant ($1550) awarded to PCWA by the Dominion Foundation and the Western Pa. Conservancy for abiotic ph, dissolved oxygen, water temperature and conductivity sensor. Implementation resulted in more accurate measurements. The funding of this grant is to provide for the improved instrumentation to measure water quality for biological restoration, Francis Collins and Carl Flaxman recipients.
- January 15, 2015, board members: Carol Cope, Peter Grover, Ruthann Wilson
- Grant ($900) awarded by the Dominion Foundation and the Western Pa. Conservancy for community outreach to build PCWA membership. Resulted in a gain in membership and $4,500 income. Carol Cope and Kevin Morrissey recipients. (See archive for grant application.)
- February 23, 2015, PCWA, Welcomes Diane Downs and the Cohort Five Environmental Outreach members to meeting Solebury School STEAM event.

- May 15, 2015, watershed congress attendance leads to seminars growing greener grant.
- July 7, 2015, First Growing Greener Grant Application filed with Princeton Hydro LLC

- March 15, 2014, PCWA delegation to the Delaware River Keeper Network Watershed Congress . PCWA delegation voices a challenge against Pennsylvania's pro-gas Act 13. The state supreme court ruled that Pennsylvania residents have a right to a clean environment.
- October 6-14, 2014, Verizon grant revision alignment with Pennsylvania standards, new, Hope Solebury, and Bristol Township students. Kevin Morrissey.

Solebury Township residents Ed and Aleka Leydon begin the restoration, on their 31-acre tree canopy property. This preserved wooded parcel is designed to become a ‘demonstration area’ to educate other residents on the need and potential to create similar plantings.
